Noodles and Oodles of Fun

We all have those extra little bags of noodles laying around. There's not enough for everyone to eat, but there is too much to just waste...so let's create with them! We love coloring ours and making lots of fun colorful creations.

COLORED NOODLES

1. Materials: Any dry noodles in different shapes, food coloring, white vinegar, plastic zipper bags, and wax paper or something for noodles to dry on.

BONUS: add pom-poms, buttons, or other craft materials to their creations.

3D PASTA FRAMES

1. Materials: colored noodles, photography, paper, poster board, scissors, glue

2. Steps: Choose one of their favorite photographs or they can even draw one on a 4x6 piece of paper. Glue the picture onto poster board or even an old box and have the kids choose a shape they want for their frames (circles, square, stars, unknown shapes, anything!). When cutting make sure the...
